Since 1977, Waterski & Wakeboard at GT has provided an environment for students to take a break from the stressful rigors of student life , engage with other water sport enthusiasts, and develop proficiency in a rewarding sport that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.

Over the last three years the team has worked hard to regrow post-covid, bringing us up to over 25 active members, with several regularly competing against as part of our NCWSA ski team in the South & Atlantic Coastal region in Slalom, Trick, and Jump. Several of these members were also introduced to the sport and/or the club at the Learn2Ski days we host each semester at out practice site, WestEnd Slalom. WestEnd (otherwise known as Waterski Atlanta), is a private lake conveniently located only 25 minutes southwest of campus, helping promote a healthy school – ski balance.

At WestEnd, we have access to the lake, a slalom course, and a tournament ski boat. Your support will go directly to helping cover the associated costs of access to our practice site for 2026 with additional support helping to cover boat fuel and equipment expenses to enhance &streamline the waterski & wakeboard experience of our members. All levels of support will help us to continue to provide our student community, at all levels of experience, with the opportunity to get out on the water.
